Legend is a locally owned and operated private laboratory that has served Minnesota’s analytical testing needs for over 30 years. Legend has provided Minnesota’s Hemp and Cannabis Industries with invaluable testing services since the inception of these programs in the state. “Hello! My name is Taylor Schertler, I am the Laboratory Manager here at Legend Technical Services and the Project Manager of our Hemp and Cannabis Programs. My team and I have worked diligently over the years to meet the laboratory testing needs of Minnesota’s hemp and cannabis industries ever since they first came to the state. We have been at the forefront of these evolving markets as new products have become available, as new technologies are developed, and as new legislation has come to pass. I have worked closely with high-ranking officials within every state agency that has had a hand in our state’s hemp and cannabis industries, including The Minnesota Department of Agriculture, The Minnesota Department of Health, The Minnesota Pharmacy Board, The Office of Medical Cannabis, and The Office of Cannabis Management. Additionally, I am a board member with the Minnesota Marijuana Association, a non-profit organization aimed at creating a professional, responsible, and model cannabis industry.
As a homegrown Minnesotan, born and raised in south Minneapolis, there is no other industry that I would rather be a part of than our evolving and exciting hemp and cannabis markets, and no other company that I would rather work for than Legend Technical Services. This is my profession, and I take pride in what I do.”
